Do Not; Do

Do not ever tell your loved ones

they don't deserve flowers.

Even the dead are given flowers.

Do not ever tell your true love

they are a narcissist.

Narcissists don't care,

while empaths feel far too deeply.

Do not remove their interests,

prune them down into your mannequin.

Some things become too scarred

to grow back.

If you love them:

Give them flowers.

Their perfumes beckon

serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin.

Loving pheromones healing

aching mind, body and heart. 

If you truly love them:

Tell them they are so human

because everything is a symptom

of being human. 

And, that's more than enough

in this life.

It. Is. Enough. 

If you adore them:

Fertilize the roots of their interests,

especially if they are not your own.

Witness them grow into all they can be. 

That is love:

Simple.
